Biography

Beginning

Rosalie van Breemen, born in 1966 in Utrecht (Netherlands), started her professional career very early. From the age of 15, she was already winner of the dutch modelling competition ‘Miss Panorama' in 1982.As a Law and german-language student, she is noticed by a talent-scout and leaves for Paris to work for 3 weeks to give it a try …and never goes back. Rosalie van Breemen was the first Miss World University in Seoul (South Korea) in 1986 and has followed an international modelling career.

Public

Parallel to modelling, Rosalie van Breemen is a journalist in the Netherlands, and writes colums, interviews and essays for magazines such as MARGRIET, GRAZIA, ELSEVIER, MAN and ELEGANCE just to name a few. In 2009 her first novel "Pour le Meillleur et pour l' Avenir" was published in Paris (Ed. Flammarion ) followed by "En ze leefde nog lang en gelukkig" in 2010 in Amsterdam (uitgeverij Prometheus). She co-hosted a very popular daily show on RTL4 (RTL Boulevard ) and hosted the weekly ZONDAGEFFECT on RTL5. As a member of the jury and coach she appeared 5 seasons on "Hollands Next Topmodel". In "The Ex-wives Club" she helped desperate newly-divorced to get their life back ( also on RTL 4 ). She also played a guest role in the highly successful movie "Radeloos" from director Dave Schram. In France, she wrote interviews and articles for PARIS-MATCH and VSD. She has collaborated in Bernard-Henri LEVY's review "La règle du jeu" (Ed.Grasset). She has also worked in the programme "Ca balance à Paris" on Paris Première and was judge and coach on M6 in "French Next Topmodel". She created, co-produced and hosted her own show "Rosalie et les Collectionneurs" on TMC and ODYSSEE.

Rosalie is also an international public speaker and performs speeches worldwide.

Private

In 1987, Rosalie van Breemen meets Alain Delon and from their 15 years together are born Anouchka in 1990 and Alain-Fabien 1994. In 2002, she marries the businessman Alain Afflelou, they divorced in 2008. In 2009 she meets investment-banker Robert Frank Agostinelli , they stay together till 2013. Currently Rosalie van Breemen lives on the island of Sylt in Germany where she is working on a new novel.
